Where'd the name HOODIHOO come from?
Once upon a time there were two friends named Ryan and Chuck. Chuck liked to “woohoo” a lot. Sometimes it made him sound a little funny (a lot of times). But he figured it would make people feel at ease as in, “well, whoever I am, I must be welcome here – or at least I can’t sound any more ridiculous than that guy.” So there were “woohoos.” Then there were “woohoodihoos.” Then because Ryan liked the never-ending exchange of one shortened word back and forth between two or more people, “hoodihoos.” Try it. It’s guaranteed to make you smile.
